A good idea;
is to have a Costa Rica Itinerary audit done before coming here. The Best Costa Rica Itinerary usually comes from people like me who know the country. If you arrive in Costa Rica at Liberia, start your Costa Rica itinerary in Guanacaste, Costa Rica’s northwest Pacific region has coarse, black sand beaches with plentiful surfing and yoga retreats. Want to chill out and enjoy the beach, Guanacaste is probably one of the best places to visit in Costa Rica.
However, it’s not just Guanacaste where you can relax. The entire Pacific coast offers many beautiful destinations that are simply breathtaking. For example, in the southern area of Costa Rica are places where you can see extraordinary things, like blue whales breaching the ocean.
Costa Rica lives by way of “Pura Vida” which means “Pure Life.” Costa Ricans, or Ticos, have a relaxed attitude and don’t spend too much time worrying about things.
Some Ideas For Your Itinerary
Throughout Guanacaste, you will find many beaches where you can swim, kayak and snorkel. And there are also remote places that are famous for scuba diving in Guanacaste.
We have been here for a number of years and have a pretty good idea of what you will face depending on the areas you visit. This is a beautiful country but never forget it is a third-world country and lacks many of the conveniences you are accustomed to.
Things you take for granted like access to convenience stores, pharmacies, hospitals, and police are different here. If you are not prepared you could find yourself in a real dilemma. We will be happy to review and make suggestions on your planned trip. We will cover all of the things you need to know and make plans that will not leave you stranded.
My Advice: As you drive in Guanacaste, you will see street vendors along roads selling fresh fruits and pipas, open coconuts from where you can drink coconut milk. Try Pipa, but forget to bring a reusable straw, because Costa Rica suffers from plastic pollution.
